DESCRIPTION:Join us for the first edition of the Un:seen x aequa Intermediate DJ Peer-Exchange Workshop! \n\n\n\nThis meetup will be held in English.THE SIGN UP FORM IS OPEN!https://airtable.com/shrUkKA0vXvQV7zh1The deadline for applications is Monday\, January 10th at CET 23:59.We look forward to reading your applications!While persons of any gender are welcome to apply\, please be mindful that this is a space primarily centered for people of marginalized gender backgrounds to be able to feel safe in developing their arts and career. \n\n\n\nWHAT IS THE Intermediate DJ Peer-Exchange Workshop? \n\n\n\nThis January\, we’re inviting intermediate DJs for a peer-led knowledge exchange and skill-sharing event. The motivation behind this was that\, while there are numerous beginners’ DJ workshops and resources\, once you’re comfortable with mixing on your equipment of choice\, there are not many public resources on where to go from there. We hope to address various topics ranging from mixing and musical knowledge to community building and career development – the exact topics will be determined by you\, the participants!We believe in the power of learning and growing with each other as part of a community\, and giving back by offering support to those on a journey to improve their craft\, and we think that this workshop is a great place to start. \n\n\n\nHOW IT WORKS \n\n\n\nWe will co-ordinate a variety of sessions covering different aspects of being an emerging artist. This is a great opportunity to learn from fellow peers in the Berlin music scene and to ask any questions about improving technique and style in a non-judgemental and accepting space. \n\n\n\nThe workshop sessions can take various formats\, including a mix of presentations\, round table discussions\, ask-me-anythings\, and some hands-on sessions with CDJs.
