DESCRIPTION:Deutsch unten // \n\n\n\nEach second Tuesday of the month\, we will hold the Capitalists Anonymous sharing circle from 7PM to 8:30PM Berlin time. Sometime we meet online\, sometime in person. For this meeting\, we will meet online. Please email capitalists_anonymous@riseup.net to receive the jit.si login for the event. At the moment\, we only meet in English. The theme for this month is Capitalism & Relationships. \n\n\n\nCapitalists Anonymous is a community space to grow collective consciousness about the tight grip that capitalism holds over our everyday lives. \n\n\n\nThe structure of the gatherings comes from the collective practice of speaking and listening circles\, known as consciousness raising groups. These are well-known for the role they played in the feminist and anti-racist struggles of the 1970s. Such practice helps individuals to break personal taboos\, identify shared experiences\, and build bonds over mutual aid with regards to those experiences. The hope is that having such a space available to address capitalism will help us politicize our experiences. \n\n\n\nContact capitalists_anonymous@riseup.net with any questions you might have regarding accessibility\, etc… If you need help arranging child or dependent care so you can join us\, please reach out and we will do our best to support. Das Thema für diesen Monat ist Kapitalismus & Beziehungen. \n\n\n\nCapitalists Anonymous ist ein gemeinschaftlicher Raum\, um das kollektive Bewusstsein über den festen Griff des Kapitalismus auf unser tägliches Leben zu erweitern. \n\n\n\nDie Struktur der Gruppen stammt aus der kollektiven Praxis der Sprech- und Hörkreise\, die als Bewusstseinsbildungsgruppen bekannt sind. Diese sind bekannt für die Rolle\, die sie in den feministischen und antirassistischen Kämpfen der 1970er Jahre gespielt haben. Eine solche Praxis hilft dem Einzelnen\, persönliche Tabus zu brechen\, gemeinsame Erfahrungen zu erkennen und Verbindungen über gegenseitige Hilfe in Bezug auf diese Erfahrungen aufzubauen. Die Hoffnung ist\, dass ein solcher Raum\, in dem wir uns mit dem Kapitalismus auseinandersetzen können\, uns hilft\, unsere Erfahrungen zu politisieren. \n\n\n\nWende dich an capitalists_anonymous@riseup.net\, wenn du Fragen zur Sicherheit von Corona\, zur Zugänglichkeit usw. hast. Dann melde dich bei hello@aequa.cc und lass uns darüber reden! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nEquitable Organising Foundations: Quick tips organising meetings\, groups and gatherings in a more inclusive and equitable way \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nGet your ticket here\n\n\n\n\nThis is the next workshop in “Social Equity Foundations\,” a community learning series in which members of the aequa Workshops Collective will lead interactive online meetups on topics like social equity\, intersectionality\, conscious communication\, equitable organising and peer empowerment. \n\n\n\nIn this 2-hour workshop\, we’ll give a quick overview and practice using practical methods to organise our teams and make decisions in an equitable way. We’ll explore methods and tools for engaging mindfully with collaborators to foster more inclusive spaces.  \n\n\n\nKey topics of conversation:– basics of equitable and inclusive facilitation– intro to consensus-based decision-making \n\n\n\nIf you are new to these topics yourself or you are someone who is trying to get better at talking about these topics more courageously with friends\, family\, colleagues and collaborators\, then this workshop is for you! \n\n\n\nThese workshops are offered on a sliding-scale basis from €1 to €30. If you can regularly afford to eat out and don’t have to think often about if your bank account is in good shape\, we would ask you to pay on the higher end of the scale. If you are receiving financial support\, are regularly worried about whether you can afford to pay your rent or other basic living costs\, pay what you can.
