DESCRIPTION:Join us for our first Queer im Kiez meetup at aequa Community Centre.On this Saturday afternoon\, we want to offer the space as a meeting place for queer folk from the area to meet\, connect\, share stories and build our support systems. We’ve invited our own queer friends to join us in creating this shared space for the day. Join us in the courtyard garden or cozy up at a table inside. \n\n\n\nSYRIAN FOOD by bread&salt \n\n\n\nThe creators of the bread&salt queer Arab soli brunch series will join us on this day to serve up delicious plates of freshly cooked Syrian dishes\, available for €5 per plate. \n\n\n\nQUEER SCREEN PRINTS with Puta \n\n\n\nThroughout the day\, visitors can learn from Puta how to screen print.”Come screenprint with SharPuta!I started screenprinting two years ago with my collective ”gender panic”. We up-cycle pre-loved t-shirts and screenprint them with messages and slogans that celebrate queerness\, and send messages that reject white heteronormative supremacy and capitalism.I’m inviting you to come and together let’s screenprint\, dance and add colors to the greyness of this city.I will have some t-shirts but please BRING YOUR OWN COTTON T-SHIRT or other cotton textile to print on! and because I’m Puta and I give nothing for free I ask you to give 5-10€ per t-shirt for materials.Any kind of -ism or phobia won’t be tolerated and dreadlocked caucasians also have no place here.” \n\n\n\nQUEER & TRANS LITERATURE TABLE by Trans*fabelhttps://www.transfabel.de/Trans*fabel is putting together a fine selection of queer books and art that will be available for sale throughout the event. \n\n\n\nAdmission is free.
