This pilot seminar is designed for small business owners who would like to learn more about the power of online customer reviews and how to widen their potential client base.

WHY?
Even if your business is the best in the market, you won’t attract potential customers just by saying so – but hearing this message from other customers can. For new and established businesses alike, actively engaging with reviewers helps build loyalty in your current customers, and can increase sales.

WHO IS IT FOR?
Female, POC and LGBTI+ business owners are invited to sign up for the seminar.

HOW?
We will kick off this fundamental session with following questions:

• Where do reviews come from?
• What is the value of reviews in your overall marketing strategy?
• How to localize and optimize your business listings on various review platforms?

Then we will cover more strategic topics:

• How to develop an internal review response program
• How to answer reviews (negative, neutral, positive)
• How to ask for reviews
• How to use reviews in your marketing

WHERE?
Workshop is held in aequa Community Centre, a community project space in Wedding.

WHO?
This seminar is lectured by Magdalena Klein, who is a founder of LocalBiz Buzz – a small consulting practice focusing on helping small business owners with the management of their online reviews.

In her past, Klein worked as an online news editor, communications manager of an open source software company, social media analyst of a small social media agency, and as a community manager of a social impact organization.
