Behind aequa Community Centre we have a quiet garden with flowers, picnic tables and a sweet visiting squirrel called Squizz. We share this space with our wonderful neighbours and we’ve hosted plant swaps, queer screen-printing workshops and plenty of relaxing coffee moments. We’re always looking for help maintaining the garden and planting. Get in touch if you’d like to help out!
We recently received a grant to help us make our shared garden even more beautiful by installing some bird feeders, nestboxes, flower beds and even insect hotels for our little animal friends.
