A word on safer spaces<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

So many of us have had difficult experiences with community spaces and we know \u2013 really, we know \u2013 that trust is earned, and that no space is completely safe. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

That said, we are committed to the constant listening, dialogue and learning that is necessary to continue to make our shared spaces as safe as possible for as many different kinds of people as possible. To that end, we encourage our community to remember and adopt these Equity Mindsets in each space we open:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. We are all on a learning journey. <\/li>
  2. We give space to learn and grow. We normalise the possibility for transformation.<\/li>
  3. We listen to learn. We share our perspectives while understanding there are many.<\/li>
  4. We aim to fight systems of oppression, not each other.<\/li>
  5. We care for ourselves and each other on the way.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Ein Wort zu sicherer Ort<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    So viele von uns haben schwierige und schmerzhafte Erfahrungen innerhalb Gemeinschaftsr\u00e4umen gemacht und wir wissen – wirklich, wir wissen – dass Vertrauen verdient werden muss und dass kein Raum v\u00f6llig sicher ist. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Aus diesem Grund verpflichten wir uns zu st\u00e4ndigem Zuh\u00f6ren, Dialog und Lernen, was notwendig ist, um unsere Gemeinschaftsr\u00e4ume weiterhin so sicher wie m\u00f6glich f\u00fcr so viele verschiedene Arten von Menschen wie m\u00f6glich zu machen. Wir  ermutigen unsere Gemeinschaft, sich an diese Gerechtigkeit-Denkweisen zu erinnern und sie in jedem Raum, den wir er\u00f6ffnen, zu \u00fcbernehmen:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    1. Wir sind alle auf einer Reise des Lernens. <\/li>
    2. Wir geben Raum zum Lernen und Wachsen. Wir normalisieren die M\u00f6glichkeit zur Ver\u00e4nderung.<\/li>
    3. Wir h\u00f6ren zu, um zu lernen. Wir teilen unsere Perspektiven und verstehen, dass es viele gibt.<\/li>
    4. Wir wollen Systeme der Unterdr\u00fcckung bek\u00e4mpfen, nicht uns gegenseitig.<\/li>
    5. Wir k\u00fcmmern uns um uns selbst und um jeden anderen auf dem Weg dorthin.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n
