To celebrate 6 months and 6 meet ups of Capitalists Anonymous, aequa CC has agreed to host a\u00a0Capitalists Anonymous Craft Evening<\/strong>!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On Friday, May 6th from 6.30pm to around 8.30pm<\/strong>, the aequa CC will welcome all interested in joining an evening of collective reflection and collages around the theme of traveling in relationship to capitalism<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What does the word ‘traveling’ make me think of with regards to my life and capitalism? What conflicts does it spark? Which of my needs does traveling help honor? How do I experience traveling as an individual? In community? What does traveling help me or hold me from (de)constructing with regards to capitalism? <\/em>These are some of the questions that will guide us in our crafting together!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There will be some food for us to share, and by the end of the evening, we might have a few pages that would make sense to assemble into a zine!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

No registration is needed, but if you are interested in helping organize the evening and have some more ideas, don’t hesitate to reach out to capitalists_anonymous@riseup.net<\/a> , regardless of whether you have or haven’t joined our meet ups in the past!!Please also note that this will replace meeting #7 (initially scheduled for May 10th).<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

GET HOME SAFE<\/strong>
As this is an in-person event at aequa CC, we\u2019ll be using “Get Home Safe” –> https:\/\/aequa.cc\/get-home-safe\/<\/a>. Donations collected in our Get-Home-Safe pot can be used by people at risk for whatever they need to get home safer: a taxi, a public transport ticket, a ride-share etc. You can make use of the fund by asking the person in charge of any event at aequa CC. They will help you out, no questions asked. You can support by dropping some change into the donation pot. Thank
