\u201cSocial Equity Foundations\u201d (\u201dGrundlagen der sozialen Gerechtigkeit\u201d) ist eine neue Lernreihe der aequa-Gemeinschaft, in der Mitglieder des aequa Workshops Collective<\/a> interaktive Online-Treffen zu Themen wie soziale Gerechtigkeit, Intersektionalit\u00e4t, empfindlich Kommunikation, gleichberechtigtes Organisieren und Peer Empowerment leiten werden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is the next workshop in \u201cSocial Equity Foundations,\u201d a community learning series in which members of the aequa Workshops Collective<\/a> will lead interactive online meetups on topics like social equity, intersectionality, conscious communication, equitable organising and peer empowerment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this 2-hour workshop, we explore tools for advocating for ourselves by defining and expressing our needs and wants and establishing boundaries. Operating from a place of authenticity and autonomy can support us in communicating more effectively, efficiently, and empathically, especially in multicultural, intersectional environments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Key topics of conversation:
– emotional intelligence
– non-violent communication (decolonial perspective)
– needs and boundaries<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you are new to these topics yourself or you are someone who is trying to get better at talking about these topics more courageously with friends, family, colleagues and collaborators, then this workshop is for you!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These workshops are offered on a sliding-scale basis from zero to \u20ac20. You will receive payment info along with the link to the video conference after registering.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  5. Empowered Communication: <\/strong>Exploring tools for more effective, efficient, and empathic communication for multilingual, intersectional environments \u2013 July 7th<\/strong><\/li>
  6. Empowered Advocacy:<\/strong> Using the power of personal narratives to shift perspectives \u2013 TBD<\/strong><\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n
